ABOUT
My name is Georgia Cheasley and I am a videographer and photographer. I have previously worked as a production assistant on the short film ‘Out of Mecca’ which was produced by Stephen Reynolds. This was my first job in the industry and was such a pleasure to work on a set where there was so much involvement. I made drinks for the cast and crew, set up equipment, managed the clapperboard and promoted actors through their dialogue.
I have also been a press photographer at a gig at the O2 Academy in Birmingham where I pictured four different bands who all used my photos on their social media which helped promote my work.

Within photography, I am really passionate about capturing the moment and making the audience think about what they are seeing. These pictures sometimes happen by themselves but other times I purposely pose someone or angle it a certain way to make the audience think about something specific. Alongside photography, I also try to push a message through my videography. For example, in my latest project ‘Art de la Cuisine’ I am trying to send the message that we need to step back and look at what is right in front of us, taking in the time, skill and effort that goes into making a plate of food.

A lot of people inspire me when it comes down to creating work including photographers Harley Weir and Sebastian Faena. I especially loved Faena’s photoshoot that featured Rihanna for PAPER magazine, this is the level I aspire to be at within my career. I would love my photos to be featured in a magazine.
